So when I was little, my dad had one of these.  He used to say if he left it parked for the weekend, when he would go to work on Monday there would be a ring of rust on the driveway around where it was parked.

My one older sister tells a story of when I was like 5 or 6 I was standing next to the front fender said "Piece of sh*t!", kicked the fender and a trim piece fell off the car.  My dad also thinks the engine would probably still be running today, there would just be no body around it.

Here is a pic, this is the color and I clearly remember these hub caps too.

The people that own this car live a few miles from me.  I'm pretty sure every car in their fleet has the same paint scheme (notice the PT cruiser in the background).  Pretty sure there is a 3rd car there with the same paint scheme.

In the third picture, there looks like an early 2000s Ford Taurus that has a similar livery to this beauty.

The Zimmer cars were actually one of the "more better" neo classics and worlds above the Fiber-Fab "Gazelle" 29 Mercedes SSK on a VW bug pan, unless you do something really silly with one.  The Gazelle could be had with a Pinto or Chevette drive line making it a really light weight rear drive car.

Given the Zimmer is Mustang based, it would make for a really interesting car with a really turned up motor and some suspension.
