I am putting a new turbo back exhaust on my Subaru WRX and am seeking to borrow/rent an induction torch to remove the nuts from the exhaust side of the turbo. Does anyone have or know where I might find one of these.

You mean one of these?

I've never used one. Did you try anything else or is it in a area where a oxy/acetylene would be too hot?

I donot have an oxyacetylene torch. I do fear it might be to hot and catch other things on fire or melt stuff. I have seen one used for just such an application and it was the easiest rusty nut removal ever.

If they're accessible, (probably a big "if" for a Subaru.) the old method of: wire brushing the exposed threads/soak with penetrating spray/ impact gun off-on-off-on-etc. does a surprisingly effective job. The key is patience.

That is the current plan. The torch was the backup!
