Also, I'm not far from Butler.  I'm using my daily driver at this point though so I don't know if the place in that video would be too rough for it.

since itd be time trial the course could be used in whatever figuration and paths could go around any rocky/jump areas. there def are some pretty rough areas but there is no reason to have to drive over those. we had a guy whos dirt car broke downa nd he pulled the lights off his street car and ran it in an event so he wouldnt lose points...

Glad the turnout is looking good. I might do the one in November - but car is mostly setup for AutoX at this point. Hopefully next year there's not as many calendar conflicts.

We had a great turnout today. No problems, a good handful of runs.

I don't know if the main causes check this forum very often, but thank you guys again for putting this together.

This was way more fun than autocross, for me, so hopefully we can keep it up and keep growing.

Good to hear, I couldn't make it because of soem life stuff, but heard from others it was fun as well.

And just sent Corey (who was a key part in making it happen) a link and screenshot of your post.

Any video? Would like to see how destructive this would be on the car...

Towards the bottom of the page, there's a few runs from the roof cam of a miata. I haven't seen them, I also don't have Facebook, but someone had a drone recording video. Might want to check AHR or WDCR (DC region)Facebook pages.  I took both my cameras but forgot the charge the batteries because I'm an idiot.

Really not any worse than a parking lot I'd say. Maybe a little better because the dirt moves where asphalt doesn't. The course evolves as the day goes on too, so if big ruts or rough transitions open up they can be avoided.

Lol, that's the greatest hood vinyl I've ever seen. Looks like a blast!

STI probably would have been ok in stock form but not with the lowering springs & splitter haha.
