Also, is there a way on MSR (maybe for next year?) for someone to indicate if they're a 2 driver car? Might help in the AM figuring out grid and all that junk n stuff.

We could start forcing a National-style numbering system where Driver #1's number is 00-99 and Driver #2's number is the same thing with a 1 in front of it.  If we did that, we could then assume that any car with a 3 digit number that starts with 1 is a two-driver car.

I've been harping on this for years; and Ive been pretty good at enforcing it.

I am going to propose we jump ship with the software there and move to AXti.me -- This software is LOADS better and it does a lot more of things we are looking for.  Stay tuned =)

ASCC uses it. It's pretty awesome. The live timing feature is pretty sweet too.

Also. 25 foot gates? 95 foot slaloms (well, 75 technically).

Nationals gives away course designs early. If we're calling it a Nats style course, might as well treat it like one too.

At least now I can see which cones I will be kicking to open it up a little.   ;D

And the SCCA just saved me $1000 bucks on a tomei expreme ti exhaust by classing the Civic type R in DS.

Oh, Todd - for next year, may I stop off at your house and pick up the type R for Steel Cities events?  It doesn't hurt to ask.

If anyone picks up a 4 cylinder camaro.....let me know.  I am tired of trying to buy THE car for a class only to get screwed by the SCCA.  Maybe I'll just run a more stable class....like XP.

Results are up!  http://stcsolo.com/standings/

Congrats to Chris - with his PAX win today he locked up the DOY trophy!  :)   An odd day results wise, but at least Chris and Alan got the same number of runs.

Everyone was scored on their best run out of their last 3.  For most of heat 3, that meant standing on their 'morning' runs, though a few heat 3 folks did get to drop one 'morning' run.  Also, if you only ran morning runs, you were not officially scored at all.  For reference (or bench racing purposes  ;) ), the morning raw times are shown in the results with dnf penalties.

As always, please let me know if any corrections are needed.

Congrats to Chris on a great year of driving, it was fun being that close all year.  I can think of two events throughout the year where I coned away a significantly better time.  That may at least sent it to the last event for a no holds bar dual, but the cones count for a reason!

I know #1 has already been decided, but in case anyone is curious, these are the adjusted DotY points heading into the final event:

I counted the top 6 out of 9 events for all drivers still eligible for DotY points, which does things like move Mr. Montuoro ahead of me by 19.91 points.  I've also included the difference between your position and the one ahead of you, similar to how the PAX / Class / Raw times are displayed.

Thanks, John and Alan! I crunched the numbers late last night trying to see what I'd need at the last event to take the win and was really surprised to see the result! I thought for sure it would still come down to the wire. Alan, fantastic driving this year as well (winning PAX at the Match Tour, damn!), looking forward to more battles next season and hope you can join us for some more tour events.

Looks like more slalom cones slowed the course by over two seconds.  I was in group 3 so I only got to experience the miata/FRS/BRZ friendy slalom entry.

So yeah intresting day....I thought I drove pretty good, then I looked at my video last night. It was not horrible for the most part. I need to relearn how to slalom......lost a good bit of time there.

Not too shabby for an old Corvette. Its kinda hilarious to see the PAX results its all like 2010+ then 1993.....

Maybe I should get something made in this century. Then again I like driving this car.

Fastest Run

I left time out there, for sure, but I'll take a 10th in PAX vs. a stacked and talented field of drivers.

No changes to the event results, but points standings have been reposted with a little cleanup (class changes and name corrections).
