« on: January 03, 2018, 02:43:39 PM »
Figured a new post was better than digging through 4 pages.

Need 20 pre-registered by 4pm Friday though. You will be refunded if the event is cancelled (for 20 people not pre-registering). So please register!

Do you think there will be a lot of runs on the snow, or will it be down to pavement after a few?  I'm trying to decide whether to run all season or snow tires.

From what I saw earlier today, it'll probably shift to pavement fairly early on. Without much to slow the wind up there, quite a bit of it's blown away and it looks a bit thin.

Thanks, maybe I'll just stick with all seasons then.

Anyone have access to a snow making machine?

Think Pitt Race would let us hook it up overnight?  ;D

If we had today's weather yesterday it would have been perfect.  That still turned out to be a lot of fun though.  In some ways the mixed/inconsistent surface was more interesting.

It was nice getting out of the house and playing with cars for an afternoon. Big thanks to Alex and Pitt Race for managing the event. Hope we get to do another one, next time with snow on all of the surface!
