Chevy Camaro SS - mods - recommend a shop?
« on: April 23, 2018, 02:13:04 PM »
I have a friend who just bought a 2016 Camaro SS and wants to do basic performance mods such as headers, CAI, tune, and performance Cams.  He wanted me to recommend a shop in the area, and most of my shop work is either on the Ford side or with the Mitsubishi EVO's in the past.  I don't really know any Camaro (GM) shops.  I know Jim C. 2012 Camaro had some performance work done...any info on good quality shops for Camaro upgrades would be helpful.  A place with a dyno and does tuning would be a plus for sure.

thanks

Luckily, there are many knowledgeable, dependable performance/fab shops in the area. I've had good transactions with:
PSK Performance
TTLM Fabrication (where Jim C. had work done)
Misfit Autowerks

But none of those places have dynos. Shops with dynos may or may not deal with bolt-on installs, but here are a few. I've heard good things about all...
6 Star Performance
TPG Tuning
PRL Performance
TRC Performance
'97 Integra GS-R - ITS/DSP

'16 Frontier - Tow/Family Duty
