Actually it was 2 Corvette clubs that got together and did a mountain road run. That was down in NC south of Asheveille and we were on a bunch of twistly switchback roads. Not as bad as the dragon, but was allot of fun.

We had a whole hotel booked and had a little party in the evening.

They make good race cars too? And they look better on a trailer at a motel ....  :-X

I've often thought of taking the roof off of Rudy's and using it in the Homecoming parade  :P Not sure it could go that slow though (even if Rudy was driving)

Yes, they make OK race cars....   ;D

It was amusing to see the looks on the other car owners when mine pulled in... it was bad enough that mine had stickers on it, but the cone marks really irked them  :P

Mine was the only BRIGHT colored car too... all the rest were blacks, grays and metallic colors.

Bathurst is a MOTHER of a track.  Makes the corkscrew at Laguna Seca look like a speed bump.  The lap in the above video was not beat for 7 years till the video below.

The intercooler doesn't look very tall or thick so I dont' think in the scheme of large intercoolers it's all that big :P
