Hey all, what's up...registered for this site in 06 and forgot about it. I'm back in the game now though and I'm sure some have seen me...the black 240sx 13 SM. Just saying hello.

don't know too many 240s that do well in SM, whats up with yours?

Nistune daugherboard, Z32 front brake conversion, solid motor and trans mounts, 1 piece alum. driveshaft...it's a project car basically I'm setting it up as I go and already pushed it into SM lol. I've just starting working on the suspension so it should start doing better next year.

Yeah goes by aceinhole on NRR, has a white s14. thats why i was saying i don't know many, cause i only know of one.

Welcome to street mod!  240's have huge potential, makes me drool just thinking about Jason Rhoades' 240 he built a couple of years ago and of course PJ and Dave in the white beast (if it weren't for Dave's cone he would have won nationals this year). Hope you bring it out soon!

Oh, PJ?  Yeah, he gets disappointed sometime (like we all do heh) but he really is a good guy. And I know Dave White was cussing like a sailor after hitting  a cone on his "would be winning run"...

Duh, sorry Jer, I misread your post...  Is Kumho wets what ChrisM was on? Either way, the 240's are amazing even in the wet...  Sorry for the threadjack but I think it's related...

ChrisM was on the kumho's. 275's vs us on 245's Hoosier wets. And the rain wasn't pouring rain just constant light rain. Made for a very interesting strategy battle. The 240 ran 1 run on slicks then changed to rains like everyone else. Then they both ran 1 run on the wets and switched back because they said they didn't like the feel of them. We were all still on wets at that point. Then the delay and everyone went back to slicks. Nothing like playing that game for my first big event. Lol

I know about the housings...I will have them when money comes along. As of recently the rear is on AGX and sportlines with stock blown struts and sportlines (ran outta money needed the rears to keep it planted I hopped everywhere). Habib...yeah that was me...talkin about the racist black cone. Way to take an intro tread and jack it into four pieces . I'm a member of NRR also...Preston on there as well. My main thing now is car feel. I've been an avid 240 fan since 16 but now that I'm actually building one I don't know what I'm changing as it relates to the performance...I know it feels so much better on sportlines and rear agx but I dk what settings to use or how they affect the handling...I'm trying to learn everything at once lol. I keep changing stuff as I get money so it's hard.

let me know if you want to test drive mine. i had a prokit on stock struts on a stock 240 and it felt rode fine but rolled like crazy. do you have some thick sways?

Nope still rockin the stockers until next year...should be pretty sweet next season...another month before it's parked for the winter and project time again...where do you run at? I never see any other 240s at NHSCC, I've only made it to one SCCA this year and didn't see any either.

oh i'm not an autox guy, my bread and butter are track days. more track time for your money. only done 1 autox and 3 1 min runs is just a waste of time to me. Not trying to knock it in any way, its just not for me.
