Just choose the one that you think will actually try to improve the country... It's still better than anyplace else in the world.
If the so-called "healthcare" bill is good for us, why did those who are forcing it on us exempt themselves from it?
Coburn's quote may make it sound like lawmakers and congressional staff are exempt from broader health care reform, but they are not. Instead, he's talking about a specific provision in the bill that would require lawmakers and their staff to buy health insurance through an exchange, a virtual marketplace where consumers can pick and choose among plans based on coverage and price. To our knowledge, members of Congress and their aides are the only people who are being forced to give up their employer's health care plan -- in this case, one administered by the federal government.
The funny thing is, one of the two major political parties clearly believes that America does not deserve its individual rights and freedoms and is trying to bring America down to the level of the rest of the world.

One party is completely good and miraculous, and one party is evil, thinks Americans don't deserve individual rights, etc. Here's a crazy thought.... Just perhaps BOTH parties have problems. Maybe neither is completely right or completely wrong. Maybe everyone really is trying to do what they think is best. But you keep on listening to your rabble rouser of choice and choose to believe that its all or nothing. After all, people who see the world in black and white colors only so often are the ones that we need to follow, rather than shun for the simpletons they are.Mark
You're assuming that I think in black and white because I said something bad about one party and not the other? Actually, I'm neither republican nor democrat. I'm a true conservative and fed up with both parties. Go ahead, call me crazy for valuing honesty, hard-work, and a limited government.

Go vote (R/T-P) so that the healthcare bill can be unfunded and repealed!Yeah, 'cause lord knows we didn't need any health insurance reform. One of the very good things to come out of this election will hopefully be that the Tea Party will be recognized as the insane bunch of morons they are. Every time I hear one of them speak, I feel like I'm back in high school listening to the candidates compete for class president... "No more homework!"Mark
Yes. Go vote (R/T-P) so that the healthcare bill can be unfunded and repealed!
But didn't you just call all Republicans and Libertarians "morons"? Is it only ok to be critical when it is of the Republicans or Libertarians? You really don't have to answer that Mark, your posts already have for you.
QuoteGo ahead, call me crazy for valuing honesty, hard-work, and a limited government. Not all of us are calling you crazy. But something that wasn't stated in this "voting" thread is that it is against RacePa rules to be critical of the left wing, or Democrat party. It is punishable by internet gangbang, and ours hasn't been finished yet.
Health insurance reform could have started with the federal government staying out of private health insurance. It was the manditory coverage that was forced on the health insurance companies that threw things into a tizzy. If you couldn't be covered for X procedure under your plan, cough up the cash and pay for it yourself. Not cry to the federal government to legislate what should or should not be covered.
Howdy,These guys just voted today. Did you?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYm2hUokcbgMark
