I'm very pumped about getting back out there this year. I ordered new plugs & wires, the oil pressure sensor and nwe shocks. While I couldn't go for the Koni's right now, I felt a good new set would be an improvement for now.

Howdy,

Also, I should note... I'm _not_ ready for autox season to start!  The list of shit to get done is still pretty damned long.

But I'm looking forward to it being done and getting back out there!

^^^THIS!^^^  But yeah I'm excited to terrorize in the Neon!  Also, I'd like to drive other stuff when possible.  I had such a blast in Travis's Porsche at that one AH event last year. (And I can't tell you how proud I am that I was only a second behind him and in the Top 5 in PAX and raw time)  RWD and R-comps? YES PLEASE.

I'm always willing to let someone co-drive the car for a small price ( tires aren't cheap ), or possibly a fun run or two.

@ CEP last year, a few people took a spin and claimed "wow, I could get used to THAT"

Yeah I had a real holy crap moment when I realized that the first NHSCC event is in 5 weeks.

Definately NOT ready yet.  At least half the parts are here, so I have something to start with while fedex becomes my new best friend.

I'm not sure if my budget is going to allow me to start the season with anything better than a bone-stock car on factory tires, but we'll see what happens.  I need wheels first and foremost.

Hell, I've been working on the car since Dec and I'm still not done. And just as I predicted, I'm getting nickle and dimed to death on the finishing touches. I'm like most govt projects, way over budget!

Still waiting for my boxes of maintanence parts to arrive.

Depending on how things shake out due to some changes in my driving situation, I might be doing more work than I originally planned.

AH event #1 ( shakedown for me ) is still over a month away.

After Ethan dropped the bomb and made me realize I only have 5 weeks left, I went and bought my new front LSD.  Only 2 more things and then everything has got to go on...

I'm already banking on the fact the Civic won't be ready by the time NHSCC rolls around.  I ordered my bushings almost two weeks ago and still haven't got a shipping notice.  Meh, least I can test the boxster and see if the shocks are finally functioning correctly!
