Howdy,

Interesting.  Both DS and ASP (the old BSP) got slightly harder compared to SS.

That seems like positive news.  :-)

SS and BSP are separated by .001 which means I have to raw time Frank for top pax (and probably FTD).
I better find some talent or skill or something - soon.

I'm glad you said something.  I had forgotten that BSP got shuffled.  ;D

Welcome to my life.  :-)

But really, the Gaus-mobile is in ASP next season.  Even still, the rule of thumb is that you need raw time Frank (and Kristi).

Shouldn't that be the other way around?  STX cars are bigger/heavier/more powerful than STS.  That should translate into working better in comparison as grip goes up.

And having said that... awd STX cars would probably do better as grip goes down, but I'm not sure awd STX cars have been setting the pax for a while in STX, have they?

Yeah I was gearing more towards the AWD stx cars as being faster at beaverun as they are what I traditionally think of in regards to STX...  I guess the LSD civics and such are the new leaders in the class.

Aren't civics excluded from STX now?

Yeah, pretty sure that's the case.  Perhaps explains STX slowing down a bit on the pax too (if they did... I didn't really look to be honest).

I'm running smaller tires next year because of the low grip surface at BR and the fact that it seems to want to rain or be cold for SS at Nationals.  SS will be a very fun class next year with all the competition.

Did the whole BSP class get shuffled around or did the evo just get bumped?  Anyone know about any other class changes for 2012?

You'd have to look in fastrack for the real details, but IIRC ASP got renamed to SSP, all the fast BSP cars (Evo, STi, Solstice, maybe some others) moved to ASP, and the older 'used to be the car' stuff in BSP (S2000, M3, C4) stayed in BSP.
