After sitting down with Beaverun and Consol Energy Park the schedule for the 2012 SCR Autocross Season has been confirmed! Attached is the 2012 SCR Season Pass form....get 10 events for the price of 9! We are looking forward to another great season

Howdy,

One note with the Evo Schools... You'll register directly with Evo for them. SCR is just contracting to Evo to provide timing/cones.

See http://www.evoschool.com/ to register. I believe they have gift certificates too, so someone can give you an Evo School and a Steel Cities Region season pass for xmas!

In for both days of the school for sure. Just waiting for a little past Christmas in case someone decides to buy me a gift cert or something. (wink wink meg)

Glad the schedule is posted up too. Looking forward to another great year next year. I'm already going stir crazy and the car has only been put away for 3 weeks. I don't know how much more I can take. Haha

Yeah, I'll be registering for Phase 2 after the holidays.

Another awesome thing about the schedule being set NOW, is that those of us that plan on running in other regions for seat time can now start planning.

Time for whining - the 8/5 event is the same weekend as peru, which means buying a season pass is a moot point for me.
I will be going to Peru that weekend. Yes, I know the schedule makers know that.

So the 8/5 steel cities event will be missing - Kristi, Frank, Randy, Dan, Brian, Trevor, Travis and me, if I am guessing correctly.

You didn't think you were gonna get away with no complaining - did ya?

Going to have a nice SCR turnout at a national event. Now if we can only get more out to Nebraska!

Then you shoudl DEFINATELY sign up for EVO. That will help IMO.

I will be there for BOTH phases. Hoping to hit a central or hershey event before the school as well. I don't want for the school to be the first time I autox the car. As I remember, both those regions have a late March/early April event.

Joe, you are welcome to come with me and get some seat time in if you'd like.

Also Dan we'll still have the low key events this year if you can make a few of those. And Joe I don't see us losing that many people to Peru when Jersey is closer. And not to speak for them, but I'm fairly sure the Gaus's aren't even going to it.

Meg and I are making a run at nationals this coming season. I have a good feeling she can place well in STXL.

As for Peru, been there, done that. Won't be making the trip back. I'm not very fond of how rough the "lot" is on my car. I'd rather save the entry fee and just go sit in the driveway and hit my shocks with a ball peen hammer for 30 minutes. Haha

New Jersey might be closer but it's Ew Jersey.

Plus, wasn't that ashpalt? Not sure it would be good for dialing in the car ( mine anyway ) but not saying Peru's surface is better for that either.

Anyway, I plan on hitting some other regions as well and the low keys this year too.

Hoping to get both street and race tires for the car after the holidays. Need 1 more set of wheels on top of the other bits the car needs.
