RaceWrite, could I run my 125cc shifter in the TAG enduro?  Lap times are similar.  Please.
Paul

Hadn't consider it Paul but if there is interest, we may do that.

What kind of lap times do you run in the shifter?

Hi Dan, lap times are very similar between tags and shifters.  For the life of me I can't remember the exact times.  I want to say in the mid to high 50's, 57-58 ish.  let me know if I am remembering out my a$$ though ;D  I think it could be a fun option.  There are tons of shifters stuffed in the back of garages that with some proper promotion and given the info early enough might come out to play.  Just a thought!

If you would consider allowing it, I will enter for sure.  Even if its just me and my co-driver.

There just hasn't been much response from the shifter guys lately, even when we ran the mini-series last year. Would love to see it come back to life though.

All things being equal the shifters should be a little fast than the TAG karts but usually here the TAG's are 2-3 seconds faster.  I think that is mostly driven by the competitiveness though.  If there were as many shifters you'd probably see those guys pushing each other as well and going faster.

I don't see any reason not to run them in the Enduro but I have to think about the implications of mixing power bands and fuel consumption rates.  I think it can be done and makes sense if the turnout allows it.  A big component of how this will all work is how many karts we can get on pit road. If we can only fit 24 karts then we may not have the ability to run much more.  If the paddock paving is complete, it changes the options quite a bit.
