Howdy,

For what I need out of a play day, the weekday evening level 3 / competition driver deal for $150 or whatever it is seems like a better deal.

I'd imagine that the test days prior to the PVGP & SCCA National will do well though.

The main difference is the minimum eight 20 minute sessions as opposed to minimum three. Geared toward testing more so than lapping I suppose?

I saw these and I "get" the low traffic/cost tradeoff - not getting clean laps makes it difficult to know if what you are doing is better or worse.  I would think that the higher budget/faster guys would be interested in this.  I would consider this should I decide to take a "big swing" at things on my car and then test.  Beyond that, I would simply enter a normal lapping event.

Would a viable alternative be a special, low traffic run group interleaved with other run groups?

BTW - I was up there last night checking over my trailer.  Very nice job on the paving in the paddock.  The additional detail that made it great was the attention to drainage.  Nice job guys.
I have never driven subtle cars.
