Need a diff for a "85" Vette

My friend Bob Liddle lives here in Peters Twp and races called me from Mid Ohio. He destroyed his rear diff. today. I'm assuming it uses a Dana 44 like most standard C4s do. Looking to buy one with a ratio in the range of 3.73 to 4.11. Need case also. Will buy complete batwing assembly if necessary.   E Mail me directly at orawiecs33@comcast.net    :'(

The ZF6 cars come with Dana 60's in them...

No they didn't.   The manuals came with Dana 44s.

Actually most but not all 84 4+3 or auto came with Dana 36's from 85 up autos came with Dana 36's 4+3 and ZF6's came with 44's

Sorry for my broad generalization.   ;D  Just wanted to point out they most definitely didn't come with Dana 60s.

That is correct, I was typing faster than I was thinking, Sorry. And I own a ZF6 C4!
