A year ago at this event, we decided to go ahead and put together a stock heavy class Evo 9 rally car. This year, we're actually going to be part of Hyperfest RallySprint, giving ride-alongs on Saturday, and rallying our first NASA event Sunday!
If anyone hasn't been to hyperfest, just imagine every imaginable motorsport in one place: http://www.hyper-fest.com

E30 BMW dressed up like a submarine. It will be the one that sounds very different from the rest of them. Ours has a 302 in it.

Ride-alongs were fun as heck. Many happy rally fans ;D.
The RallySprint was a close battle with Charlie and Jeannie Sherrill in the Evo4. Each stage consisted of 3 laps on the Bolivian rally circuit which took about 7 minutes to run. We were basically trading positions all day. At the end of stage 3, we were 10 seconds ahead. Charlie and Jeanie fought back, and managed to best us by 2 seconds on our second to last run. We knew we had to go for it on our our last run. Amber and I buckled down in the evo and pushed hard; ended up jumping things that weren't meant to be jumped, drifting corners at the very edge, and flat footing it through some massive ruts (I think we grabbed 4th in one section where we had previously just topped out third). All in all we took a quarter of a minute off our best time to take the overall win!
